Former para commando, Rémy Boullé defended the interests of France in operations in Afghanistan, Mali, Niger and Chad. At the age of 26, Rémy became paraplegic following an accident in
parachuting during training.
A sportsman at heart (he was a member of the French skydiving team), Remy felt that to speed up his reconstruction, he had to invest in sport. Remy turned to a youthful passion, kayaking, and challenged himself to participate in the Paralympic Games in Rio. He achieved this feat and finished 5th in the 200m final. He always had for principle
that disability is "not the end but the
beginning of another life. "
