Four high-level athletes took part on Sunday afternoon in a fictitious hostage-taking operation, in the heart of Paris, on the occasion of the "Internal Security Days" (JSI), organized this weekend in France metropolitan and overseas.
The highlight of the demonstrations and events, which began on Saturday in the provinces and continued on Sunday in Paris, was the fictitious hostage-taking on the Alexandre III bridge. The Olympic champions Alain Bernard and Hughes Duboscq, the athlete David Alerte and the judoka Stéphanie Possamaï, in the skin of the hostages of a terrorist group on board a bus, were released by the intervention group of the national gendarmerie (GIGN) in front of a stunned crowd, noted an AFP journalist.

The best photos are often the result of chance, missed acts, missed or missed opportunities, and sometimes both. Take this report, the hostage release demonstration on the Alexandre III bridge by the GIGN, scrolling through my photos on the lightroom filmstrip I can only remember
